Bangladesh is a perfect place to study MBBS. Bangladesh used to be the part of India before the partition i.e. 1947. Students going to study MBBS will feel at home, as the culture resembles India and the Bangladeshis keep great respect for Indians. They are incredibly cordial and polite.
In recent years, many students from different parts of world are opting Bangladesh for medical education. Last year, more than 200 Indian students came to Bangladesh for study in medicine, most of them selecting an English-medium MBBS program.
Who can get admission?
The criteria set by MBBS colleges in the Bangladesh are very moderate:
- Students should have 17 years completed before 31st Dec.
- Open category Student sshould have passed out 12th science with a 50% aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology
- SC/ST and OBC Students should have passed out 12th science with a 45% aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology
- Must have passed out English
