Students going to Nepal to study MBBS will feel at home, as the culture resembles India and the Nepali people keep great respect for Indians. Between India and Nepal there is a in-law relation. Students does not need visa and most procedures are waived off for Indian students.
Last year more than 100 Indian students came to Nepal for study in medicine, most of them selecting an English-medium MBBS program. Students can speak Hindi as it is used locally in Nepal.
Who can get admission?
The criteria set by MBBS colleges in the Nepal are very moderate:
- Students should have 17 years completed before 31st Dec.
- Open category Student sshould have passed out 12th science with a 50% aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology
- SC/ST and OBC Students should have passed out 12th science with a 45% aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology
- Must have passed out English
